Forklift Alternators - A device utilized to be able to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy is called an alternator. It can perform this function in the form of an electrical current. An AC electric generator can basically be labeled an alternator. Nonetheless, the word is typically utilized to refer to a rotating, small machine powered by internal combustion engines. Alternators that are located in power stations and are driven by steam turbines are referred to as turbo-alternators. "Brushless" alternators - these make use of slip rings and brushes with a rotor winding or a permanent magnet to be able to generate a magnetic field of current. As the permanent magnet field is constant, the terminal voltage varies directly with the generator speed.
